The idea is good - bringing all what Assassin's Creed has to offer to the PSP, but there are many flaws...

I honestly don't have much to say about this game. Assassin's Creed in general is obviously fun; however, the PSP version somewhat fails at attempting to port this fun into your pocket. Many glitches will occur during gameplay, which are often a result of the uncooperative camera that the GameSpot review mentions. Additionally, there are some odd AI attributes, such as guards not noticing an assassination by Altair's hidden blade taking place right beside them. If you really like Assassin's Creed, you may want to check it out, because the combat is very fun. However, be warned that glitches are evident, and that the game in general is quite shallow (I have to agree with the GameSpot review).

I did have a lot of fun with it, and it took me a while to master the art of counterattacking and fighting. I just didn't enjoy the glitches that hindered the gameplay and sometimes even forced me to restart the game.
