Assassin's Creed is the s---. I got it because I heard it was good so I decided to play it for myself. It is not good at all. It is BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!! I actually think that this is better than [PROTOTYPE]. The story goes like this: In the year 1191, assassin, Altair, failed a mission and killed a civilian in the process. He saves his village from the Templars, but he's still screwed. Now, he is stabbed by his master. According to their beliefs, he slept the sleep of the Death and is "reborn". He lost his ranks and weapons. Now he has to assassinate nine people in order to get his ranks back up by 1 per assassination. This is a massive free-roaming environment traveling by kingdom to city. The cities are huge and many optional sidequests in the cities. Well actually, I shouldn't say optional because you have to complete some of the missions in order to assissinate the objective. I like how they show how cruel the people are before you assissinate them. Some of the people really piss me off and I can't wait to kill them. The AI is good yet bad. The good part is that they can climb buildings and are good at chasing after you. The bad part is that they are very stupid, when you hide, they don't bother to look in the hiding spot. But all that will change in AC2. The graphics I think are the best graphics in gaming history! The Anvil engine is the best graphics engine to date. So yeah, goodbye.
