Next generation action game

Assassin's creed is possibly the greatest action game on the market right now. It puts the player into the shoes of the main character Altair and allows him/her to explore the holy land as it was during the times of the third crusade. The beginning of the game puts Altair in Solomon's tomb, were he fails to get the target assassinated, and loses one of his team mates. Once back at your head quarters, you lose your rank and skills for failing the mission. To earn your rank back, you must assassinate 9 targets for your master...
After each assassination, you get back a weapon and/or skill that will help you assassinate your target. The weapons system is a combo system were you can press multiple buttons (although when you start playing it will be mostly button mashing).
The story line is very interesting, but the game play gets somewhat repetitive for each target. Even though you might get sick of the game play, you'll beat just to find out how the story ends.
