This is the first ever Assassin's Creed game. Lets make this quick the whole point of the story is too find out about Desmonds ancestors. So you go into this machine called the animus and you go back in time to the third crushade and you kill each leader in each rich, middle, and poor district of Juraselem, Acre, and Damascus. But to get to the leaders you have to investigate around the city for clues on what the leaders next attack is or where he is going to be at.

When you enter each city you can see that each guard is wearing different armor and sometimes the armor is better then the others. The graphics are some pretty amazing graphics I have seen in 2007. The controls aren't that bad but it is just that Altair is just too sticky when he jumps to each building trying to hang on and jumping to the next. You can also save citizens and also there are view points to make the map more visible when you push the start button.

The good of the game is that it is long. It is challenging. The leader of each district battles are pretty fun trying to kill them in different ways. The game is a great discovery.

The bad of the game is that the sequences aren't equal. It is sometimes boring just doing the same investigations each sequence.

Overall this game is a great game to rent if you don't have the sequel to the game. But it is fun and a great challenge to play.
