An Okay Racer

User Rating: 7 | Asphalt: Urban GT DS
The Good:
-Good variety of race events.
-Large, varied car roster (Hummer, Saleen, Corvettes, etc.)
-Great visuals, albeit a tad blocky in some areas (Car designs, city designs such as Hong Kong.)
-Controls feel responsive (Drifts are also fun to do.)
-Solid frame rate.
-Great use of camera rattle when pulling off turbo boosts.

The Bad:
-All cars in the game have the same engine sounds and they tend to repeat a little too much (Since when did a Saleen S7 have the same engine sound as a Morgan Classic Roadster?)
-Collision detection is a mess (You spin when you hit oncoming cars, barely anything happens when you hit certain scenery, etc.)
-Music isn't anything exciting (You will hear the same, generic techno/synth music throughout the game.)
-Not much touch screen usage other than showing the map of the course you are racing on, for example (What touch screen elements that are available are more or less of an afterthought.)
