Surprisingly good, for the half hour that you play it for.

As far as mobile games go, Im clueless. This is only the second game Ive DLed to my mom's mobile phone, the other was Bejeweled. I got rid of that to get this one, and I think it was an excellent trade. I got rid of both of them in time for Verizon to raise the cost of it to $2.99, and as far as my parents are concerned, thats a fortune on the phone bill. I would probably have my own phone right now if it werent for my brother running the bill over $500 talking to his idiot friends. But Im not here to complain about that, be glad. The gameplay was better than I expected. I thought it would just be a 2D down-view racing game. Nope, 3D and you can hit stuff. The AI was slightly off, if there was any, in the fact that all they did was go. And they never got chased by any cops. You can get booster power-ups and immunty and extra cash. Cash is important if you want to reach the last car: the Lamborghini Murcielago GT-R. I think there were about 10 cars in this game, each one actualy handled differently than the others. It would have been cool if you could play this over the phone with someone, sort of like wi-fi, without being charged. The graphics were amazing for a cellphone. But it seemed to me that places like New York were in a void of space. The car detail on the select screen was pixelated, but you could tell what was what. The racing however seemed to blur by in the faster cars. And the traffic in the oncoming lanes were nothing more than headlights. Im not sure about the sound, I dont think there was any in this version. The length would only last you about 30 or 45 minutes if you played it straight through. Which means you could spend the last part of the school day racing instead of working. I played this thing in PE and before I knew it, it was time to go. All in all, this game is a good one to have on your cellphone. There are 2 different versions out there, this one is actually the 2D version, and the other one I guess is moe touched up, the 3D version. Still, its a good game to pass the time with. But not good enough to leave on your cell phone every month costing you $2.99 extra.
