User Rating: 8 | Asphalt 4: Elite Racing DS
Asphalt 4 elite racing comes to the nintendo dsi. Well, no main story. you just start out with 3 simple cars. Use these to enter racing events and beat the others and win new cars, locations, tuning kits, and new events. Pretty basic, but you'll soon get addicted to it. beating one level makes you want to beat the next to unlock a car and then you want to beat the next level to unlock a new location and it goes on and on. The game isnt very long. And it seems to be very short when you play it non stop. I beat it in about 4 or 5 days. It was actually pretty fun so i did it again.

Graphics:

The graphics werent the greatest, but the cars were very detailed and you could tell what was going on.

Sound:

Good music, But didnt really fit when you were racing. Didnt sound like crazy fast techno or anything, but its just music.

Controls:
you can customize the controls anyway you want! You can also use the touch screen as a steering wheel, but its a bit harder than it sounds. the car is easy to control also. Drifting is a tad diferent in this game. use the E-brake and tap the D-pad left or right depending on which way your going and slightly change the direction you're sliding. a takes some time, But youll get used to it.

BAD:
-short game, some levels like police chase,
(which isnt what it sounds like) can feel impossible sometimes,
Sometimes doesnt save progress,
Hawaii is EVIL!!!

Good:
A huge selection of vehicles! (but no lambroginis...)
-Take pictures and seeing them on bilboards was a nice feature,
-ADDICTING!
-Customize controls

Conclusion:
I liked Asphalt 4 on the dsi. Could of improved just a little but it still ended up Great,Not a "Must Have," But a good game. 8 dollars is a great deal. I say its a yes.
