Since 2005 , I've stopped buying any new cricket games, 'cause every time they just make a few minor changes, and give you the same lame game. Seriously, if you wanna play cricket only, get the 2007 Brian Lara Cricket from Codemasters too, you won't miss a THING that's in this game

erm, this is a cricket game, so i gues its pretty hard to do all the animations as exactly as all the players do. every player is unique in cricket. if its done by codemasters, the gameplay will be fun.

they don't look anything like the actual people...not impressed

I think saying it looks like a Wii game is a bit harsh. I'm looking foward to getting my hands on this!

I'm looking forward to it and I'm obviously gonna buy it cause I always buy the cricket games. But this to me, looks like a Wii game. The characters look really cartoon like, and it's a shame they only have licenses for Australia and England. I think the game play will be brilliant though, with some of the features they've added in this year. Should be interesting.

Just checked some videos on Youtube, actually looks pretty decent - the demo has come about btw!

I've been looking forward to seeing footage of this and now I'm glad I have as I think I have just saved some money! What a mess this game looks, you can just tell how its full of bugs, most of the time you could see a big gap between the bat and the ball when it was being hit, looks like something from the PS1..

It looks bad and more than likely will be bad BUT it the only cricket to come out and look like EA not going to make a cricket game until 2010 if not later so I will have to get this one and put up with it just to play cricket at home

:/ What a let down .. the best game ever created by codemasters was brian lara 1999, afterwards they've lost that touch and man i thought they would have learned something from previous titles but looks to me they are least bothered,.. same gameplay as previous one which is rediculous!! so not fair to the game of cricket and to Ashes itself. A total let down. EA is far far and i really mean.. FARRRRRRRR bettter game than codemasters. Waiting for EA cricket to come out.. which i hope would be soon.

that ponting shot was terrible. i thought he was blocking it when the video paused on him and said his name and then he hits it in the air down the ground. wtf.

what is with these stupid looking backfoot shots down the ground in the air. the shots look all wrong and the bowling looks like a little kid playing his first year of cricket and still trying to develop a bowling technique.

lol, talk about shooting yourself in the foot. Was looking forward to this, but I get the feeling it's going to be a half finished rushed product judging from this video. This looks like a high end PS2 title. With games such as FIFA and Madden taking sports games to another level, this looks dated already and it's not even released. I really really hope the gameplay is top notch, and despite being called Ashes, I hope they implement other tournaments

it is pretty dissapoiting. but i am hopeful that the gameplay will be better then the video clips. i'll still be getting this.
