With Zynga being one of the bigger game developers for social network sites like Facebook, it was inevitable that making game cards that contained Zynga in-game currency would catch on fast in the USA.

A year or so after their debut in the US in September 2009, the cards are now on sale in Southeast Asia. Through a partnership with Money Online AccessPortal Berhad (or MOL for short), the cards will be available for purchase in Malaysia, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. The cards will be sold in nationwide convenience stores like 7-Eleven and in region-specific stores like Comic Connections and Oke Shops.

The cards themselves will be available in values of US$2, US$5, and US$10. MOL customers can also convert their existing MOLPoints into Zynga game cards that will be redeemed into Zynga in-game currency.
