Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas, the Zelda-like adventure game previously released on mobile devices, is now available on PC through Steam. The game was created by Finnish developer Cornfox & Brothers. As you can see in the trailer and screenshots, it bears a resemblance to Nintendo's iconic role-playing franchise in a number of ways.

The PC version of Oceanhorn features a "complete graphical and technical overhaul," its developer said.

"All of the game's graphical assets have been tweaked for the PC platform," Cornfox & Brothers explained in February. "We added four times more polygons, sharper textures, normal maps, detail objects, and new lighting effects such as dynamic ambient occlusion, soft shadows, and realtime reflections to make Oceanhorn look stunning when played in 4K resolution."

What's more, its developer explains that Oceanhorn has been "redesigned" for physical controls; it supports both keyboard & mouse and gamepad. In addition, the game's puzzles have been re-tooled and areas of the game that felt confusing or unfair have been tweaked.

Oceanhorn is set on the islands of the "Uncharted Seas," described as a vibrant, colorful world stuffed with "many dangers, puzzles, and secrets."

The game is available now on Steam for $12, though it will jump to $15 next week. A Mac version of Oceanhorn is "coming soon," though no specific release date was announced.
