TOKYO - The much-anticipated title Legend of Zelda has made its way to the press. Beta copies have been recently provided to members of the press by Nintendo of Japan.

Unfortunately it's not a final copy, but we've learned a bit more about the title. As you likely know, there are many "minigames" throughout Zelda. Now, in one of them, a fishing pond is revealed. We've been told this particular minigame utilizes the Rumble Pak quite nicely - and it's quite fun as well.

We also know now that you can play the ocarina all you want. It can be played with the A and C buttons. There are several characters who will teach songs to you. Some songs will have particular effects. A little health, anyone?

As for the release date, Japan will have the game a week later than expected, as was previously announced. According to Nintendo, the delay is intended to make sure sufficient cartridges have been produced for full distribution on the release date.
