Pokemon Bank will launch on the 3DS eShop on December 27, The Pokemon Company has announced.

The app will allow users to manage up to 3000 Pokemon in their own private cloud space, which does mean the application will require an Internet connection to use. But the app also comes with Poke Transporter, which will allow users to bring their old Pokemon from Pokemon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2 into Pokemon X and Y.

It's possible to glimpse what appears to be Generation III Pokemon--like Sceptile--in the video, too. You might want to PokeTransfer your collection from Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver to Black and White in advance.

Anyone who downloads Pokemon Bank between December 27, 2013 and January 31, 2014 will receive a 30-day trial of the service for free. After that, the Pokemon Bank will cost $4.99/£4.49/€4.99 a year.
