Xenus gets publisher

Russobit-M Company announces that it will publish Deep Shadows' forthcoming action RPG in Russia, the rest of the Commonwealth of Independent States, and Eastern Europe. New screens inside.

Russobit-M Company has today announced that it has reached an agreement with Ukrainian developer Deep Shadows concerning the forthcoming action RPG Xenus. The deal will see Russobit-M Company acting as a worldwide sales agent for the game and publishing it itself in Russia, the rest of the Commonwealth of Independent States, and Eastern Europe.

Xenus will be Deep Shadows' first game, although the company was 2829526founded by the programmers responsible for the tactical shooter Codename: Outbreak . In Xenus, players will assume the role of Kevin Myers, whose sister has been reported missing in modern-day Colombia. The game takes place on a map that's about 25km by 25km in size, and vehicles including cars, tanks, and motorboats will be available to help players cover the ground--provided they can afford to buy or rent them in the game.

No release dates have been set for Xenus as of this time of writing, nor have publishers been confirmed for North America or the rest of Europe. For more information on Xenus, consult our previous coverage of the game.
