Xbox boss Phil Spencer has spoken out to congratulate Gears of War creator Cliff Blesiznski on the official announcement of his latest game, LawBreakers, which looks pretty great (see the video below). He even teased that he is open to the idea of LawBreakers coming to Xbox One someday.

"Last time Cliff Bleszinski launched a new gaming franchise that one seem to turn out ok," Spencer said on Twitter. "Congrats to you and the team."

What's more interesting is what Spencer says next. A fan asks if LawBreakers could come to Xbox someday. Spencer replied: "Cliff Bleszinski is always welcome on Xbox."

Of course, that's not a confirmation by any stretch that LawBreakers is coming to console. Right now, LawBreakers, a free-to-play game published by Nexon, is confirmed only for PC. However, Bleszinski's own Twitter bio said previously that Boss Key would consider console versions of LawBreakers after the game ships for PC. This line has since been removed, replaced by a description of LawBreakers.

LawBreakers launches in 2016.
