Xbox One's Killer Instinct Coming to PC With Cross-Play Support
Microsoft's fighting game is expanding to a new platform.
Tonight at the PC Gaming Show at E3 2015, Microsoft's Xbox boss Phil Spencer announced that Xbox One fighting game Killer Instinct is coming to PC for Windows 10.
The PC edition of Killer Instinct supports cross-platform play with the Xbox One version, allowing people on both consoles to play together. A release date for the game was not announced.
Killer Instinct is a free-to-play game on Xbox One; presumably it will be the same on PC.
Windows 10 launches July 29.
This news isn't altogether surprising, given that developer Iron Galaxy Studios said during PAX East in April that a PC edition of the game had not been ruled out.
An Iron Galaxy Studios developer also confirmed that any content you bought for the Xbox One version will carry over to the PC edition.
Cross-Play confirmed. Also, whatever you've bought on XBox One will be there, waiting for you dutifully on Windows 10 #KillerInstinct
