It seems the Black Friday sales have started early in the UK, as Microsoft puts on special Xbox One bundle promotions.

Over on the Microsoft Store you can get an original Xbox One, plus up to two select games, for £179. Among the selection are Halo 5: Guardians, Forza Horizon 3, and Quantum Break.

You can also upgrade to a 1 TB console for an extra £20, while £199 will also get you a 1 TB console and an Elite controller instead of a game, if you prefer. Given the Elite controller currently costs £110 on Amazon, that's a reasonable deal.

Other retailers are running their own promotions, with Game and Tesco among those matching a limited number of Microsoft's offerings.

Bear in mind that these bundles do not include the newer Xbox One S, so you won't be able to enjoy 4K or HDR games and movies, and you will be lumbered with the larger, heavier model.
