Xbox One getting free games in Game with Gold program
More details coming next year.
Microsoft confirmed today via Twitter that their Game with Gold program will eventually extend to Xbox One owners. Game with Gold provides two free games each month to current Xbox Live Gold subscribers on Xbox 360.
No specific titles have yet been announced for the service on Xbox One, though it is unlikely to be available for the console's launch. The tweet states that: "Details coming later in 2014."
Current Gold subscribers on 360 can download A World of Keflings until November 15, after which Iron Brigade will become available. Microsoft has not announced an end date for the service on Xbox 360.
The Xbox One launches worldwide on November 22.
