The deal works with three different bundles. The $50 gift code can be used towards at a Microsoft Store in person or online. This means you could put it towards another game if you want, though you need to use it by April 20, 2017. Some of the best games of the year so far came out on Xbox One, including Dark Souls III, Doom, and Overwatch. You can check out GameSpot's full list of 2016's best games so far here.

The Xbox One S released in August and features HDR supprt and a 4K Blu-ray drive, in addition to being smaller than the original Xbox One. In GameSpot's review, critic Jimmy Thang said, "The Xbox One S might not be a huge overhaul--you’ll want to wait for Project Scorpio if that’s what you seek--but it’s undoubtedly the sleekest, most feature-rich Xbox yet."

Announced at E3 2016, Project Scorpio releases next year and is said to deliver 4K gaming with six teraflops of performance. Last month, Microsoft Studios publishing general manager Shannon Loftis said that it would play all of Microsoft's first-party Scorpio games in native 4K.
