Xbox One beta for game creator Project Spark will start in February
Anyone already in the Project Spark beta will be sent a second key.
The Xbox One beta for game creation suite Project Spark will begin in February, Microsoft has announced.
The full software is due out later this year, with a Windows 8 beta currently ongoing.
"Project Spark Xbox One closed beta begins in February," wrote developer Team Dakota on the game's Facebook page.
"If you have a Windows 8 beta key, it will also give you access to the Xbox One beta. If you are in the Windows 8 beta, you will automatically have access to the Xbox One beta when it starts."
Everyone who was already sent a key for the Project Spark PC beta will receive a second when the Xbox One beta starts, so they can invite a friend if they're feeling charitable.
Anything built using the PC version of the software will also work on Xbox One, the developer added.
Anyone interested in signing up can do so via the Project Spark site.
