As Xbox One is deemed to fully replace its predecessor eventually, MLG are already making the transition to Microsoft's now nine-month old console flagship.
Whilst shafting the 360, which has at the time of writing sold an excess of 80 million units, may seem like a decision that will alienate an overall larger playerbase, it isn't an all too odd development due to MLG's association with Microsoft in the last CoD World Championship, which Microsoft helped arrange in collaboration with the esports organisation.
