Xbox Boss Phil Spencer has said he's aiming to make a number of Xbox 360 games available to purchase digitally through the Xbox store again. Lost Odyssey can be played on Xbox One through backwards compatibility, but is not available to purchase digitally, which means you need to have a physical disc to play them.

Asked on Twitter if Microsoft plans to change this, Spencer said this was something he was personally invested in doing for the game.

When asked about Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3, and Blue Dragon, Spencer said this was also a "goal" for Microsoft.

These games cannot currently be played on Xbox One as they are not included in the backwards compatibility program, but this may be an indication that Microsoft wants to include them in the future.

The Xbox One's backwards compatibility feature launched in November 2015 with the New Xbox One Experience update. Microsoft has said that the response to its backwards compatibility initiative has been "overwhelming," with users spending over 145 million hours playing Xbox 360 games on Xbox One.

Microsoft has added new titles on a regular basis since then. Most recently it added Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed,Puzzle Quest Galactrix, and Puzzle Quest 2. You can take a look at all 250-plus backwards compatible Xbox 360 games in the catalog here.
