Xbox 360 holiday bundles revealed

"Value Bundles" offer pack-in games like Forza Horizon, Halo 4, and Tomb Raider; US shoppers get an additional $50 off.

Microsoft today announced three new Xbox 360 Holiday Value Bundles that will begin to populate at retailers around the world shortly.

All bundles include one month of Xbox Live Gold, as well as various pack-in games. More details are available at the Xbox website.

250GB Kinect ($400) - Includes Kinect Sports: Season Two, Kinect Adventures, and Forza Horizon.

4GB Kinect ($300) - Includes Kinect Sports: Season Two and Kinect Adventures.

250GB Standard ($300) - Includes Halo 4 and Tomb Raider.

The Xbox 360 Holiday Value Bundles will be available at retailers worldwide. United States retailers are holding a special price promotion where shoppers will get $50 off each bundle October 13, 2013 through January 4, 2014.

Microsoft may be releasing the Xbox One on November 22, but the company will support the Xbox 360--approaching eight years on the market--for at least the next three years. Microsoft plans to release 100 new games for the platform during that time.

Awesome, an extra $50 for those who were lucky enough to be born American. It's not like it's enough Americans get consoles & games cheaper than everywhere else anyway, "lets fuck foreigners out of even more of their cash" says Micro$oft.

Shouldn't the X360 be selling for $100 or $150 now

Selling the X360 bundles for $100 less or the same price as a Next Gen system is kind of stupid

Nice bundles, but Microsoft really needs to get the prices down to $200 and $250 (360/Kinect). The new generation is about to start.

I Honestly do hope that Sony does NOT announce a holiday bundle... Sony already has bundles that compare to these. So if a few people want them then they are there, no need to make an announcement.

If you want to get a real gaming console, get a Sega Genesis. No need to worry about DLC and loading times.

Um? Corrected? for what? I said isn't the Xbox One shipping by then? Xbox One being the new Xbox console, the next gen version of it..But, you did agree with me on who in their mind would buy this archaic console.

Are these physical product bundles or just like the previous hard-drive space wasting digital code bundles with expiry dates?  This ain't stating much, guessing it is more annoying digital codes to burden and waste your time, that is apparently value for consumers now.  Making your life actually harder makes for good bundles now.

This is a complete ripoff to stupid people. No smart person would buy this. When the PS3 came out, the PS2 went down to $99-$149. And there's currently the PS3 500GB GTAV bundle for $269.99, cheaper and way better deal than these.

PS3 is only being supported by Sony for about 3 more years too James Harry,so your statement is pointless

who in their right mind would spend $300-400 on a system that had its last game come out and over with, and more than likely done in 3 yrs and sad you don't have an xbox1 or ps4 the whole time....

Get myself a Wii U these coming holidays then next year PS4 it looks unfortunate for the future of Xbox but yes I agree there is no exclusives just Gears of War Judgement this year and that's basically it. I find I'll get better value for money with Playstation and Nintendo than with Xbox.

So for the same Price as a PS4 you can have a 250GB Kinect bundle. Why

@ShakyMonkey Yeah maybe and I have seen the new slim at my local Wal-Mart 250 gig and have seen the 500 gig at the local Eb games as well and for almost the same price.

Ravenlore_basic

@Colin Norman Look at the number of exclusives that each are coming out with this year alone. Support is with the games that comes out, and supporting their online ability.

It is not selling new consoles so Microsoft and Sony can profit from.

Ravenlore_basic
Ravenlore_basic

@Chuck Renninger not only that but Craigslist, Ebay, and Amazon will be full of used consoles with plenty of games for less.

Ravenlore_basic
Ravenlore_basic

@Mohamad Hashimi Bin Hashim that's it for exclusives for Xbox 360 this year. Really?  I also wonder if the whole series will be ported to PC and PS4 as it is EPIC's IP??

@iamllamapie

Exactly. $400 for an 8 year old machine, a useless motion sensor & 3 games they have to give away to get anyone to play them. One would still have to spend money to get a decent game to play so why not just buy a PS4 instead?
