WWE's Biggest Stars Get Their Own Comic Book Series
The opening issue tells the story of Seth Rollins betraying The Shield.
WWE superstars like Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Xavier Woods, Sasha Banks, and more are coming to Boom Studios in comic book form. The series will follow multiple wrestlers going about their daily business, like breaking tables, fighting in the ring, and grilling out on top of a WWE truck.
On November 9, the publisher will debut its first comic utilizing the WWE license: WWE: Then. Now. Forever, and you can see a preview of this issue below. This is an introduction to what Boom Studios has in store for fans, when the ongoing WWE series launches in January.
The oversized, one-shot issue tells the story of Seth Rollins betraying his former teammates, The Shield. The action takes place inside and outside the ring as fans learn what led Rollins to turn on his friends. The story is written by Dennis Hopeless and features the art of Dan Mora.
In addition, there are a few other stories in this 48-page comic, including a New Day story by Ross Thibodeaux and Rob Guillory, a Sasha Banks story by Rob Schamberger, and a Tugboat short by Derek Fridolfs. This comic goes on sale on November 9 and will cost $4.
