Tazz slaps on the Tazzmission.

Tazz is currently announcing during televised WWF SmackDown! broadcasts and commentates on the action along with Michael Cole in the upcoming WWF Smackdown! Just Bring It for the PlayStation 2. While more than capable of accurately calling the action, Tazz is perhaps most recognizable when on the business end of a vicious Tazzplex.

With the coming of the WCW-ECW Alliance to the WWF, Tazz has turned on the WWF and has spearheaded the assault on the WWF Superstars alongside Paul Heyman and his former ECW compatriots. How his current pro-alliance stance will affect his relationship with the WWF corporate staff remains to be seen.

Tazz's achievements include a longtime reign as ECW World Champion and winning the ECW Tag Team Championship on two separate occasions. Tazz has since gone on to WWF success as a three-time hardcore champion. Tazz was also the first competitor to defeat gold-medal Olympian Kurt Angle during his WWF debut at Royal Rumble 2000.

Bio:

One half of the tag team that totally reeks of awesomeness, Edge, along with brother Christian, has taken the fight to the greatest teams in the WWF, and the duo usually comes out on top. While not above using dirty tactics to win an important victory, or bringing a doctor's note to stay out of a particularly scary matchup, Edge has proven more than capable of holding his own in singles competition

He is a superstar of grand magnitutions.

Kane is the king of sucktatude.

Edge and Christian are well known for appeasing their fans, whether it's by posing for centerfold spreads in Tiger Beat magazine or by providing a truly memorable moment "for the benefit of those with flash photography." Their crowd-pleasing abilities are most pronounced in the ring, where their high-flying maneuvers and tag-team talents are sure to bring gasps from the crowd. You can also look for Edge's appearance in Highlander: Endgame.

Edge's exploits include winning the WWF Tag Team Championship an astounding seven times, along with his brother Christian, and earning the Intercontinental title on two separate occasions. Most impressive of all, Edge was able to defeat both Rhyno and Kurt Angle to win the 2001 WWF King of the Ring tournament! This, as Edge would say, was totally rad!

The constantly smiling Holly is always up for a fight, especially where her family is involved. Look for Molly Holly to have a powerful impact on the WWF in the near future.

Nicknames, Past and Present:

Bio:
It's hard to think of a more imposing personality than the WWF's Perry Saturn. Covered in tattoos, Perry Saturn doles out an intense stare that inspires fear in his opponents. A true veteran with more than 12 years of ring experience, Perry Saturn brings excellent mat skills and an extensive martial arts repertoire with him to every match.

"...Moppy...You're welcome."

The Death Valley Driver

This former U.S. Army Airborne Ranger debuted in the WWF alongside fellow WCW competitors Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, and Dean Malenko to form the short-lived outsider group The Radicalz. Each competitor moved on to singles competition, and Perry has found his share of success. Perry defeated Crash Holly to earn the WWF Hardcore Title and won a match against Eddie Guerrero to win European gold.

Perry joined forces with long-time WWF diva and manager Terri Runnels after the breakup of The Radicalz. After sustaining one too many chair shots to his head, Perry Saturn now utters nonsensical sentences to other WWF Superstars, ending them with the phrase, "You're welcome." He even lost interest in Terri and turned his attention toward a grungy mop named Moppy that now accompanies him to the ring.

Signature Moves:

Nicknames, Past and Present:
The Big Red Machine, One half of the Brothers of Destruction

Bio:
Despite his relatively short career, few can compete with the impact that Kane has recently had on the WWF. Matched perhaps only by his brother, The Undertaker, and the Big Show in the brute strength category, The Big Red Machine has been known to topple the toughest of opponents with a single punishing chokeslam.

Fire and Brimstone.

Kane sends his opponent through the cage.

His relationship with The Undertaker wasn't always as it is now. Kane's first appearance was at Hell in A Cell in October of '97, where he tore the door off the cage and attacked his older brother, The Undertaker. The powerful duo once fought tooth and nail but has since reconciled to form quite possibly the most powerful tag-team combination in history: the Brothers of Destruction.

In fact, only a year after his debut, Kane defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin at the 1998 King of the Ring to win the World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Championship but lost it the following night on Raw. Experienced not only as a singles competitor but also as a capable tag team member, Kane, along with former teammate X-Pac and the Undertaker, has accumulated a total of six tag-team title reigns.

Nicknames, Past and Present:
Vinnie Mac, Daddy Mac, Vincent K., Mr. McMahon

Bio:

We wouldn't have SmackDown! Just Bring It without the organization that pioneered the sport as we know it: The World Wrestling Federation. And we wouldn't have the WWF today if it weren't for its owner, Vince McMahon. McMahon bought the Capitol Wrestling Corporation from his father and followed his vision to transform it into the spectacle that we now enjoy. Together with his children Shane and Stephanie, who now own previous rivals WCW and ECW, respectively, the McMahon family is the most powerful force in wrestling today.

In the past, Vince McMahon has worked with some of the greatest entertainers to ever grace the industry. Who can forget the phenomenon that swept the world in the 1980s, Hulkamania? Vince hasn't kept his interests in wrestling alone, however. Earlier this year, fans were treated to a single season of Vince's latest endeavor, the XFL. While it went down the same road to cancellation as the World Bodybuilding Federation, the XFL perfectly embodied Vince McMahon's desire to spread his influence to all aspects of media today.

Vince McMahon's fervent love for the WWF has gone to his head a few times, and he's not passed up the opportunity to don his gym apparel and strut into the ring for competition. Mr. McMahon has squared off with such opponents as The Rock and long-time nemesis, Stone Cold Steve Austin. Vince's accolades include winning the 1999 Royal Rumble and even a brief reign as WWF Heavyweight Champion!

Quote:

"Get lost, you barfoid!"

Nicknames, Past and Present:
Christian Cage, The Suicide Blonde

Bio:

What about Christian? While this may sound similar to Raven's familiar line, Christian would love an answer. Christian has always been bothered by the fact that fans put Edge first when referring to the duo. Christian says, 'Edge and Christian, E&C, why not Christian and Edge?' In spite of this, Edge and Christian were a spectacular tag team and together have racked up an astounding seven tag team titles. Christian is a more-than-capable singles competitor, however, and once held the WWF lightweight championship when he competed as Christian Cage.

Christian's mental state came into question when Edge, his brother, won King of the Ring and the Intercontinental Championship--Christian would carry the King of the Ring trophy around arenas as if it were his own. He even made it seem like he had really won the Intercontinental Championship rather than Edge. Christian had a chance to obtain singles gold on Raw when he challenged The Rock for the WCW title, but he was unsuccessful and was sent back to live in Edge's shadow. Christian finally snapped later that night during Edge's match, where he attacked Edge with a steel chair and finished him off with a one-man con-chair-to.

Nicknames, Past and Present:
The Sultan, Headshrinker Fatu, Rikishi Phatu

Bio:

Few men can boast of the strength possessed by Rikishi, the Samoan giant. Punishing his foes with his powerful slams and his formidable rear end, Rikishi has challenged the greatest wrestlers in the WWF and has established himself as a force to be reckoned with. Rikishi comes from a family with a history in sports entertainment; in fact, the People's Champion is his cousin! This doesn't mean that relations are tight between them, however. The Rock was infuriated when Rikishi revealed that he was the mystery driver that ran over Stone Cold Steve Austin during the 1999 Survivor Series. He has since been paired with former fellow Headshrinker Haku, thus reuniting one of the dominant tag teams of the early '90s.

Finishing Moves:
Pedigree

Signature Moves:

Quote:
"I am The Game, and I am that damn good."

Nicknames, Past and Present:
The Game, The Cerebral Assassin, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Terra Ryzing

Bio:

World Wrestling Federation announcer Jim Ross likes to call Triple H the "cerebral assassin" - and no name could be truer. Over the years, Triple H has proven himself to be one of the most vile, ruthless, sadistic competitors in World Wrestling Federation history. And that attitude has taken him straight to the top - and straight to the World Wrestling Federation Championship.

The former leader of the ultra-popular D-Generation X took on a darker attitude in 1999, and won his first Federation Championship from Mankind soon after. But perhaps his greatest accomplishment came later that year, when he married Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley - the boss' daughter - and thus began the McMahon-Helmsley era, one of the most dominant alliances in the history of sports entertainment.

Nicknames, Past and Present:

Bio:

It would be hard to argue that there's ever been a more popular female athlete in sports entertainment than Lita. While other women have commanded a huge following in the past, none have wowed audiences like the high-flying Lita. The fiery redhead made her debut in the WWF as the valet for Mexican superstar Essa Rios, where she first impressed fans with her Moonsaults. But the relationship between Lita and Essa soured when she was blamed for his string of losses. When she came under attack by Rios, the Hardy Boyz quickly came to the aid of their friend from their days in various independent wrestling circuits. Lita has since taken on their edgy, extreme style, and she can always be seen sporting her trademark thong. The relationship between the Hardyz and Lita has only strengthened since her romantic involvement with Matt Hardy. Along with the Hardyz, Lita has been embroiled in conflicts with such superstars as Dean Malenko, Stephanie McMahon, and Stone Cold Steve Austin. To her credit, she has performed admirably in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.

Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson were clearly outmatched against Lita and her partner Trish Stratus in their exciting bra and panties match. The popularity of Lita and the Hardyz has been so overwhelming that the WWF has released the first issue of a magazine dedicated to the trio, WWF Extreme. Raven spent a long time feuding with his ECW rival Tommy Dreamer, and he was the recipient of the "chair shot heard 'round the world" in a cage match against the Innovator of Violence. Forced to leave the ECW, Raven moved on to the WCW, where he formed a group of social misfits known as Raven's Flock, who would only fight under Raven's rules: There are no rules. While the members of the Flock eventually went their separate ways, some members have gone on to individual success, such as Perry Saturn. Raven has gone on to participate in a number of exciting matches, showing that he can absorb inhuman amounts of punishment and dish out twice as much.

But he has more wrestling greats in his family than people realize, like "Superfly" Jimmy Snukka, and Rikishi. His formidable family didn't get The Rock to the top, however. Instead, his vault to fame can be attributed to his superior showmanship, his flair for the dramatic, and his ability to make each match more exciting than the last. The quick-witted Brahma Bull has shifted alliances a number of times during his career, leading the Nation of Domination in his early career, allying with the McMahons as the Corporate Champion, taken the fight to Vince and the corporate office as the People's Champion, and through it all has proven to be a match for the federation's greatest superstars. The sultry diva had no problem using her feminine wiles to get whatever she wanted, as was evident by the name of the team she managed for nearly a year--T&A. But T&A dissolved once Trish caught the eye of Mr. McMahon. The World Wrestling Federation chairman liked what he saw, and Trish liked the opportunity that a relationship with Mr. McMahon presented. The two became inseparable, becoming "more than friends." Soon, Trish started to assert herself--a fact that bothered Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, who vowed that she was the dominant female in the Federation. The situation really heated up when Stephanie caught her husband Triple H practicing some close-up holds and counter-holds in the dressing room with Trish. Test then went on to become an integral part of a powerful foursome, the Union, along with fellow members Ken Shamrock, The Big Show, and Mankind, who worked together to foil the plans of Shane McMahon. In fact, just before the short-lived group disbanded, Test began a relationship with Stephanie McMahon! The two were to be married, but Stephanie shunned Test in favor of Triple H after she was stricken with amnesia from a flying trash can.

Steven Richards has appointed himself as the censor of the World Wrestling Federation, and that couldn't have happened soon enough. The World Wrestling Federation is a cesspool of moral depravity, and Steven is here to clean things up. Already, Steven has rid the Federation of the "Ho Train." He has tried to curb the Acolytes' smoking and drinking problems. He has also restricted the Dudley Boyz' use of tables and Al Snow's use of blow-up dolls. All these superstars who try to add to their success through disgusting, depraved, perverted actions must be stopped, and Steven is just the man to do it. Steven has teamed up with and clashed against some of the most dangerous opponents in the WWF in his storied past, including Raven, the Dudley Boyz, and Mick Foley.

His reflexes are to be feared, as Blackman can deliver several kicks and punches with lightning-quick authority. Steve Blackman is a highly accomplished martial artist with more than 18 years of training and holds a third-degree black belt in Shotokan karate (fans of Street Fighter will recognize this as the fighting style of Ken and Ryu.) Bio:

Stone Cold Steve Austin. The mere mention of his name will bring any sold-out crowd to its feet in a crazed frenzy. Never before has the world of sports entertainment seen a phenomenon like the one that Stone Cold Steve Austin has created. At any live event you attend, all you see is a sea of Austin 3:16. Why? 'Cause Stone Cold said so! When the Texas Rattlesnake entered the Mecca Arena in Milwaukee for the 1996 King of The Ring, he never could have imagined that before the evening was through, he would change the entire face of the wrestling world. After beating the Bible-referencing Jake "The Snake" Roberts to become King of The Ring, Austin accepted his crown, and upon doing so informed Roberts that "Austin 3:16 says I just whooped your ass!" With that simple phrase, Austin became the most popular superstar to ever compete in this sport. Some peers say Stone Cold Steve Austin is a suicide machine with lack of regard for authority and rules. But you can't deny this superstar is tougher than leather when he steps through the ring ropes.

Stone Cold is a three-time Royal Rumble winner, a four-time Tag Team Champ, and twice an Intercontinental Champion. Plus, he has held the WWF title belt an astonishing five times. Without a doubt, there are still plenty of unwritten chapters in the book of Austin 3:16!

D-Von first uttered these commandments in Extreme Championship Wrestling, and a combined 11 ECW and World Wrestling Federation tag team championships and a trail of broken bodies in a career spanning more than four years is proof that the Dudley commandments are worth their weight in gold. When D-Von joined his half-brother, Bubba Ray, in the ECW, the Dudleys were an oddball collection from the town of Dudleyville. The serious and sinister D-Von felt that an attitude adjustment was necessary for the Dudleys to dominate the organization. It didn't take long for most of the family to go home to Dudleyville, and for D-Von and Bubba Ray to begin a reign of terror that still continues today in the World Wrestling Federation.

Together, the Outlaws became perhaps the most popular and successful duo in Federation history. After being unceremoniously removed from DX because of an injury, Billy Gunn returned to the Federation as "The One" and showed off a new finisher, The One and Only. Whether it's in singles competition or the tag team division, there's no denying The One is a phenomenal athlete--arguably the best pound-for-pound in the Federation.

Eddie Guerrero has a serious problem dealing with women, however. First, he managed to steal WWF Women's Federation champion Chyna away from fellow Intercontinental champ-mate Chris Jericho. Eddie let it be known that he wanted to "shake his bon-bon" with her, and eventually her resistance to Eddie's advances diminished, and they became an item. Their whirlwind romance led to his Latino Heat moniker and their eventual engagement. Things turned sour, however, when he had issues with Chyna posing for Playboy magazine, and later still, when he was caught showering backstage with two other women! Their engagement called off, and their relationship no more, Eddie and Chyna have gone their separate ways. Whether Eddie will take this as encouragement to take his game to the next level remains to be seen.

There are lots of reasons why so many fans of Chris Jericho, or Jerichoholics, are flocking to WWF events. After making his stunning debut with the coming of the millennium, Y2J has thrilled audiences as they never have been before. His athleticism in the ring is unparalleled. Jericho is capable of stunning foes with feats of strength, like the double powerbomb, or with incredibly agile maneuvers, like his springboard leaps, missile dropkicks, and trademark Lionsault. Most dangerous of all would perhaps be his finishing maneuver, the Walls of Jericho, which has made even the greatest WWF superstars weep in agony. Chris has been able to hold his own against the greatest in the WWF, as evidenced in perhaps his most memorable match, a last-man-standing bout against Triple H in Fully Loaded 2000.

It might be his in-ring capabilities, but even more enticing to the WWF audiences that frenzy upon hearing his "Breaking Down the Walls" entrance music, are his dazzling mic skills. Who else in the WWF but Y2J can captivate an audience by calling out Stephanie McMahon as a "filthy, dirty, disgusting, brutal, bottom-feeding, trash-bag ho"? His taunts have menaced Vince McMahon as well as the other superstars, and if they try to steal the spotlight, Y2J puts them in their place with a well timed "Would you please shut the hell up?" Chris Jericho still has plenty of untapped superstar potential and is sure to be headlining events for years to come.

Bio:

Dean Malenko is easily one of the greatest talents in the WWF today--just ask anyone who's watched Dean's epic matches against Eddie Guerrero in the ECW. Dean's abilities in the ring far surpass those of many of his fellow superstars, and he is perhaps the greatest pure wrestler in the ring today. Perhaps this can be attributed to his heritage--after all, Dean is the son of legendary wrestler Boris Malenko. Dean has feuded with some of the biggest names around, including a memorable dispute with Chris Jericho, which started up when Y2J claimed to have taught Dean everything he knew, and was in fact the Man of 1,001 Holds. Dean has never backed down from a challenge, and he's always defended himself admirably.

Recently, Dean Malenko has made a name for himself as a womanizer, and he likes to be known as the "James Bond of the WWF." Frequently accompanied to the ring by any number of gorgeous ladies, Dean has his eyes on more than just a WWF title. Despite his recent success as a light heavyweight champion in the WWF, his name will often be associated with his former glories in other federations. Dean, along with Chris Benoit and Shane Douglas, was a member of the original Triple Threat, and he was also a member of the legendary Four Horsemen. Whether Dean will continue to make strides in his career, or instead make another attempt at courting the lovely Lita, fans will have to wait and see.

Signature Moves:

"American by Birth, Bad Ass by Choice."

Nicknames, Past and Present:
The Phenom, Dead Man Inc., Dead Man Walking, Taker, The American Bad Ass, Half of the Skyscrapers, Half of the Brothers of Destruction

Bio:

Who else in the WWF, but the Undertaker, can lay claim to an entire Decade of Destruction? For over 10 years, the Phenom has wowed crowds with his displays of cat-like agility for a man his size, and his ability to destroy anything in his path. When he first debuted in 1990, fans were astounded by the Undertaker's ability to withstand chairshots unflinchingly, and to weed out all the competition. Taker is a three time WWF Champion, having defeated such luminaries as Stone Cold Steve Austin and Sid Vicious to strip them of their titles. In fact, in 1991, Taker was on such a streak he was able to destroy arguably the most powerful force in federation history-Hulkamania, by pinning 4-time champ Hulk Hogan for his title. The Undertaker was also the bringer of pain during what is recognized as perhaps the most brutal match in World Wrestling Federation history, the Hell in a Cell bout between himself and Mankind.

Many of the other memorable matches seen in WWF history can also be attributed to the Undertaker's particular style of sadism. The Phenom has trapped claustrophobic Sumo wrestlers in Casket Matches, and even fought his own brother, Kane, surrounded by the flames of an Inferno match, leading to the Big Red Machine being set on fire! When the Undertaker took a leave of absence in 1999 to recover from 10 years of pain his body had endured, no one knew what to expect next. When his roaring return finally happened in May 2000, fans were shocked. The Undertaker had returned riding on a Harley-Davidson and sporting a new look-American Bad Ass to a tee. While no longer the gothic warrior of old, the Undertaker looks on track to continue taking out the opposition on behalf of the WWF.
