Hear ye, hear ye! The World Cyber Games today let it be known where all its upcoming regional tournaments will be held. Regional competition is based around the following eight games: Counter-Strike, Starcraft: Brood War, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, FIFA 2005, Need for Speed Underground 2, Dead or Alive Ultimate, and Halo 2.

Regionals are designed to whittle down competitors in each region to the top two Halo 2 and Counter-Strike teams and the top four players from each of the remaining games. The national competition in New York--with its own pot of $34,000 in prizes--will determine who represents the US in the world finals in Singapore, scheduled for November.

Depending on the location, regional competition begins July 23 and goes through August 14.
