WizardWorks, a division of Infogrames, has announced that it will publish Australia-based Ratbag's latest racing game, Leadfoot. The game is the first dirt-track stadium racing game developed for the PC, and it will feature fast-paced action on a dozen challenging stadium tracks. Players choose from a selection of five different types of four-wheel drive sport trucks or three types of Super Lites, all of which feature realistic handling and performance. A career mode lets players compete in 180 events in 15 different series, with an ultimate goal of becoming the world champion. Leadfoot is based on Ratbag's proprietary Difference Engine, which supports unlimited textures and 60fps high-resolution graphics. In addition, a multiplayer mode supports up to 10 players over a LAN or Internet connection.

Ratbag previously developed Dirt Track Racing and Dirt Track Racing: Sprint Cars, both of which were published by WizardWorks. Leadfoot is scheduled for release in May for a suggested retail price of $19.99.
