I'm pretty sure there will be a PS Vita version of this game with added bonuses like when they did RE4 for gamecube

Im all set resident revelations for 3ds, raccoon city for for ps3 or pc and resident evil 6 for ps3. now all i need is time. I don't think this will be ported to consoles because the graphics is on par with the wii or GC but maybe it will be ported to vita.

I bet this game will get ported over to consoles eventually. Can the enemies not go through doors?

This a fantastic game, no doubt about that. Being a Resi fan since 1996 makes it far more special for me. But i cant afford both of the portable consoles and revelation alone cant sway the balance imho. No offense to capcoms work, but just compare this with Vitas uncharted and you will see that its like comparing a GC game with WII, not quite a generation apart, but far enough. Its really sad that capcom keeps the exclusive trend on nintentos favor and rob us of this exp. Im sure that i will regret this game as much and prolly more than zero, but so be it...

Nice article. Also on yahoo news in an article I saw they got the name Revelations wrong on the box cover to this RE game. In other words a typo lol. A collectors item for some.

@Broken-Silence Just because there is one scene in the game where you have a big ass gun and kill a bunch of hunters doesn't mean that they don't appear in other parts of the game when you are far less "equipped". Who's to say this part isn't from the end or something. Did you watch the video of Jill running around without a weapon or did you notice the fact that Chris was shooting the dogs with a pistol and not a machine gun?

With regards to the hunters video, I remember when encountering these guys was an intense experience. Hearing a hunter's footsteps would prepare me for either a quick run through the hallway or wasting some precious ammo. These guys are easier to kill than the dogs. I understand that resident evil needed some refreshment and I loved re4, but its clear that it is significantly more action oriented than survival horror. I'm not trying to bash this game but I just couldn't let that go.

@AndCarlsen I agree although I think the lack of support was largely because the DS was severely under-powered even when it released. The extra power is certainly helping, I'm pleased with my purchase. - Resident Evil: Revelations - The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time - Mario Kart 7 - Super Mario 3D Land - Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition - Luigi's Mansion 2 - Monster Hunter 3G (fingers crossed for a worldwide release) - Super Smash Bros. - Rayman Origins ............to name but a few.

I think the 3DS has some great games, better than the DS had when it launched. Resi Revelations, togehter with Zelda OoT, Mario and many others show that, different from its predecessor, the 3DS won't have a shortage of good titles to keep the player entertained. Those games are reason enough for buying it (besides it being 3d)

you don't need two sticks to play a resident evil game...

@endorbr they do have this game in a pack with an attachment analogue stick (awkward as that may be)

I'll pick this up after Nintendo comes out with a 3DS that has two analog sticks built in.
