We've been impressed by artist Psychobob's 3D print work based around video game characters and technology. They've included a highly detailed Atlas figure from Portal 2, and a USB-powered Dead Space Rig helmet. So when he said he wanted to work with us to build something to give away, we jumped at the chance.
With Borderlands 2 on the horizon, we thought the best thing to commission would be a build of the series' iconic service robot Claptrap. This video shows how Psychobob built the design using CAD software and is working with a 3D Printing firm to get the model made.
Let us know what you think, and stay tuned to find out how the build is going. If you want to win the finished model, simply email us with the answer to this question:
What is Claptrap's official title as given in the game?
Simply email the answer to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and address. We also have five copies of the game to give away on Xbox 360 as runners up prizes! Apologies in advance, you must have a UK address to enter this competition.
