The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) is holding a Sims-centered event at Electronic Arts' Redwood City, California, campus on July 7. Maxis founder Will Wright and executive producer Lucy Bradshaw will be on hand to give a presentation on the history of the Sims games and to talk about The Sims 2.

Space is still available at the event, but seating is limited. Those interested can sign up at IGDA's Web site.

Lucy Bradshaw worked at Activision, Lucas Arts, and EA before deciding to join Maxis when it was acquired by EA in 1997. She worked on SimCity 3000, SimCity 4, and The Sims, and she now serves as VP of production and development and is executive producer for The Sims 2. Will Wright cofounded Maxis in 1987 and is chief designer at the studio.
