Wii gamers who love the feel of fist to face (and head to face) have plenty of new options today, as Nintendo released three new games for the Wii's Virtual Console. However, the games shouldn't be too much of a surprise because all three were previously announced.

Leading the trio is Punch Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream, the 1990 Nintendo Entertainment System boxing game. This version of the series followed Mike Tyson's Punch Out!! and replaced the biting boxer with a new final fight, Mr. Dream. As Little Mac, gamers will jab and rabbit punch their way through a roster of classic punching bags, including Glass Joe and King Hippo. Punch Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream is available for 500 Wii points ($5).

For those who like to use more than their hands to dish out punishment, Sega is offering up the Genesis version of Virtua Fighter 2. The second game in the fighting series, VF2 for the Genesis featured 2D fighting with many of the same characters as its arcade counterpart. Gamers can download Virtua Fighter 2 for 800 Wii points ($8).

Finally, Bonk's Revenge, originally released on the TurboGrafx-16 gets primal on the Wii for 600 Wii points ($6). Unlike the other two more civilized games released today, Bonk's Revenge sees its caveman protagonist knocking enemies out with his oversized noggin.
