Wii stock will not be replenished in the United Kingdom, a Nintendo UK representative told MCV, noting that Wii Mini units will remain available across the region.

"Wii imports to Europe have been discontinued," the Nintendo representative said.

The news comes after Wii production ended in Japan earlier this month. This will not affect the North American market, where the console will continue to be available.

The Wii, which has already sold over 100 million units across the world, is entering its eighth holiday season on the market. The systems starts at $130 for a bundle that includes Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort.

A preowned Wii system will go for $50 at GameStop on Black Friday in the United States, according to a recently leaked advertisement from the retailer.
