What it looks like when a Fallout developer makes a South Park RPG
Check out an extended gameplay video for Obsidian Entertainment's upcoming role-playing game The Stick of Truth.
What's it look like when a Fallout developer works on something as radically different as the South Park franchise? See for yourself in a 13-minute extended gameplay trailer for Obsidian Entertainment's South Park: The Stick of Truth, which launches on March 4 for consoles and PC
In addition, be sure to check out our newly published preview of The Stick of Truth, written by GameSpot editor Mark Walton. He says, "South Park: The Stick of Truth is shaping up to be every bit as crude, offensive, and poorly animated as the legendary TV show."
Crude, indeed. One of the game's special powers in farting and developers went to great lengths to ensure that aggressively passing gas feels authentic.
"It was really important that you didn't just press a button to fart," South Park co-creator Trey Parker said this week. "You need to feel it go out of your a**hole."
South Park: The Stick of Truth was developed by Fallout: New Vegas studio Obsidian Entertainment in collaboration with South Park Digital Studios, the team behind the TV show.
