Westwood Studios and the Blade Runner Partnership are getting us ready for Blade Runner.

The title is due next month, and it's slated to feature more than 70 characters and 100 digital sets (amounting to millions and millions of 3D rendered polygons).Westwood's own proprietary M3 motion-capture technology allows for the integration of 3D Studio Max's data into motion-capture data. The True Color Emulation and the Windows 95 DirectX technologies let Westwood develop "full-screen, millions-of-colors" environments in 24-bit graphics supported by standard 16-bit video cards. The proprietary engine renders thousands of polygons in real time without a 3D accelerator card. Each of the 70 characters has its own AI, making this a game to conquer again and again.Remember. It's just a game.
