Webzen shuts down Arctic Combat
North America, South America and Europe servers will shut down on September 2.
Webzen has announced that it will be shutting down the overseas online services of its MMO FPS Arctic Combat.
Starting from this month until September 2, the company will gradually shut down the servers in North America, Europe, and South America. The game's item shop, download page and 1:1 inquiry service option were already closed down.
Gamers who spent money on Arctic Combat will be reimbursed with bonuses on other titles published by Webzen and gPotato. These other games include Continent of the Ninth Seal (C9), MU Online, Allods Online, Rapplez, Flyff, Terra Militaris, Dragonica, and Age of Wulin (the European version of Age of Wushu).
Arctic Combat is an MMO first-person shooter set in modern times. The last update for the game added four-player co-op mode that featured AI-controlled enemy aliens, new weapons and new maps.
