The final episode of Telltale Game's Walking Dead: Season Two will release next week, the developer has announced.

The PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita versions of the game will release in North America via Steam, the PlayStation Store, and other digital distribution services on August 26. The Xbox 360 and the European version of the game for PS3 and PS Vita will release on August 27. On August 28, the last episode will be available as an in-app purchase via The Walking Dead: Season Two app on the iTunes App Store. On its own, the episode will cost $5.

As you can see in the trailer above (which contains major spoilers for both seasons), the finale is titled No Going Back, and recaps Clementine's story, from where protagonist Lee first found her, through the harrowing events of season one and two.

GameSpot has been reviewing individual episodes as they're released, and so far they've been mostly positive. With a score of 6, the first episode was the least favorite so far, while episode four earned the highest score of 9. Check back with GameSpot for our review of the season finale soon.

Telltale recently wrapped up its first season of The Wolf Among Us. In May, it also announced that both The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead will get a retail disc release for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, as well as Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

At Comic-Con 2014, the Telltale announced that The Walking Dead will get a third season. On top of that, Telltale’s also working on Tales from the Borderlands, an adventure game based on the Borderlands series, and another adventure game based on HBO’s TV show Game of Thrones.
