Titanfall 2 hits shelves at the end of the week, but you can watch its launch trailer right now. It's a very pretty-looking trailer that features the classic tale of a man and his titan, getting up to a whole lot of mischief.

Parts of the trailer look like they were shot in real life, but most of it is definitely CG. If you want to get a good look at actual gameplay, you can check out footage from Titanfall 2's campaign or multiplayer. Otherwise, watch the launch trailer in the embed at the top of this article.

The sequel to 2013's Titanfall releases for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 28. Titanfall 2 was recently confirmed to have support for the upcoming, more powerful PS4 Pro on the disc. The first-person shooter won't run in native 4K on the PS4 Pro, but the extra power will help ensure the game holds steady at 60 FPS at a higher resolution.

Unlike most EA-published games, Titanfall 2 does not feature early access or discounts for EA/Origin Access subscribers. We have contacted EA in an attempt to get more details on why Titanfall 2 is not included in their subscription program and will keep you updated as we hear back.

In GameSpot's review, Titanfall 2 scored a 9/10. Critic Mike Mahardy praised its fluid traversal system, frantic yet thoughtful Titan combat, and exhilarating campaign, while noting his disappointment in the story's narrative.

"Whereas the first Titanfall kept up its breakneck pace throughout the entirety of every match, Titanfall 2 understands that sometimes, dialing things back for a few moments can make the long run much more enjoyable," Mahardy wrote. "In many ways, Titanfall 2 feels like the game Respawn should have made in 2013. It's a fantastic sequel. It's a fluid shooter. It's a spectacular game."
