Moana takes place three thousand years ago. Moana (voiced by Auli'i Cravalho) meets up with Maui and together they sail the high seas as Moana attempts to become a "master wayfinder." As the trailer reveals, the duo encounter all kinds of monsters and other obstacles along the way.
The cast also includes Jemaine Clement (Men in Black 3), Temuera Morrison (Star Wars: Episode II), Alan Tudyk (Star Wars: Rogue One), and ex-Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.
Moana is directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, the famous duo that also directed Disney classics such as The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. It arrives in theaters on November 23--Thanksgiving Day.
