The next movie from the Oscar winning Wallace and Gromit animation studio Aardman, Early Man, has gotten its first trailer. The movie follows a "plucky caveman" named Dug (voiced by Eddie Redmayne), who journeys through a prehistoric world alongside his trusty creature-friend Hognob.

As you can see, things do not go exactly to plan for Dug, who gets into trouble when trying to find his dinner one day. Take a look:

Early Man is directed by Nick Park, and represents his first time back in the director's chair since winning an Academy Award for Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

The movie also features the voices of Tom Hiddleston (Kong: Skull Island), Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), and Timothy Spall (Harry Potter series).

Early Man premieres in January 2018. Some of Aardman's other movies include Chicken Run, Flushed Away, and Shaun of the Sheep. The studio's Wallace and Gromit series was spun into an episodic game from The Walking Dead developer Telltale Games.
