Electronic Arts has released a new trailer for Battle of Jakku, the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens-inspired DLC coming to Star Wars Battlefront in December. Take a look at the short video below.

Battle of Jakku takes place after the Rebel victory in the Battle of Endor. In the DLC, you'll go boots-on-the-ground to play through the events that created the devastated Jakku seen in The Force Awakens. Specifically, Battle of Jakku takes place 29 years before the events of the new movie.
Battlefront's Battle of Jakku DLC launches on December 1 as free Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC DLC for people who preorder the game.Eeveryone else can get the DLC for free a week later, on December 8. The Force Awakens, meanwhile, hits theaters on December 18.
Battle of Jakku comes with two maps set on Jakku, though developer DICE hasn't said what modes will be supported. Battlefront launches on November 17 across all platforms.
In part due to the positive response to Battlefront's multiplayer beta, EA recently raised its shipment projections for the game. The company now expects the game to ship 13 million copies before April 2016.
