The Harry Potter series may have officially ended in 2012, but there's plenty more of JK Rowling's magical world to come, with the spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them hitting theaters in November. A new featurette for the upcoming fantasy has been released, containing quite a bit of new footage. Check it out below:

The movie stars Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, a "magizoologist" who embarks upon an adventure to find and document magical creatures in 1920s New York.

Fantastic Beasts has been adapted by Rowling from her own 2001 novella, which is set some 70 years before the events of the Harry Potter stories. David Yates, who made the last four Potter movies, is directing, and Redmayne's co-stars include Colin Farrell, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, and Samantha Morton.

In October, Redmayne maybe spoke to ComingSoon.net about working with Yates. "He's wonderful," he said. "Even though there's a scale to these films that could be intimidating, he has such a kindness but an absolutely brilliance that it feels very intimate, and he's got such a wonderful, eclectic cast. Hopefully, it will be good."

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be released on November 18, 2016.
