Watch Hearthstone ANZ Finals This Weekend

Blizzard is hosting its Hearthstone Australia and New Zealand Season 2 finals this weekend, featuring top players from Australia and New Zealand. Eight players will battle it out for their share of the USD$10,000 prize pool, with victor to earn a place at the APAC Spring Championships.

The event can be watched live on Twitch, and kicks off on Sunday, May 22 from 1PM AEST / Saturday, May 21 from 8PM PST. The APAC Spring Championship Finals will be held on June 18 in North America, and see players compete for a $100,000 prize pool and a guaranteed spot at this year's BlizzCon.

Last month Blizzard shared news that Hearthstone had achieved a new player milestone, hitting 50 million registered players, up from 40 million five months ago. The figure was mentioned in a press release for Hearthstone's latest expansion, Whispers of the Old Gods. The expansion adds 134 new cards, all of which you can see here in this gallery roundup.
