Halo 5: Forge is about a week away from launching on PC, but we've got some of the first gameplay footage you can see right now. In the video above, you can check out a custom multiplayer match on the new map Mercy, which releases with the upcoming Anvil's Legacy update. Additionally, you can see two more videos below.

The first video below is a tutorial that shows how you can use the Forge. It walks you through the map creator's controls, including how to delete objects, move around faster, and test things like man cannons. You build in Monitor mode, while your testing is done in Spartan mode, which lets you run around a map as if you're playing Halo proper. In this mode, you can try out different weapons and vehicles.

Halo 5: Forge launches September 8 for free on Windows 10, but you're limited to custom multiplayer matches, as matchmaking is not included. Forge releases alongside an app that acts as a hub for everything Halo on PC.
