Watch Every Darth Vader Movie Kill

A new, fan-made Star Wars supercut shows off every Darth Vader kill. You might be surprised to learn that the Dark Lord's kill count, at least the volume depicted on-screen, is relatively light when you compare it to his youth. As this new "Darth Vader Kill Count" video from Mr. Sunday Movies shows, Vader only killed 12 people. He was much more murderous as Anakin Skywalker, before he officially turned to the dark side.

In all, Vader was directly responsible for the death of 60 people across every film, at least according to this video. The number would have been significantly higher if Alderaan's destruction were included.

"Didn't include Alderaan because Tarkin gave the order," Mr. Sunday Movies said in the video's comments. "Though Vader could have stepped in, he just didn't because he's always been a terrible person."

Vader deals death in a number of ways. Watch and you'll see him choke people to death (both physically and through the use of the Force), blast them to bits in his TIE fighter, and hack up Jedis with his lightsaber.

The next Star Wars movie is The Force Awakens, which opens in December behind tons of hype and anticipation. A new trailer was released on Monday, while ticket pre-sales also started that day. Early ticket pre-sale figures are strong; demand was so high that some site's servers buckled under the strain.
