Watch Destiny's Fan-Made Homage to Star Wars: Force Awakens Trailer

The latest Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer has been remade in Bungie's Destiny. YouTuber Sam Goodey's work (via GameZone) is not a shot-for-shot remake, but rather more of an homage. Whatever the case, it's a treat to watch and definitely captures the vibe of marketing for The Force Awakens.

The video uses the John Williams music from the trailer alongside scenes from Destiny's Taken King expansion. Oryx plays the role of Kylo Ren, while The Speaker delivers the Han Solo line: "It's true, all of it."

It's being praised in the Destiny subreddit as well as the comments of the YouTube video. You can watch the new Force Awakens trailer here to see how it compares.

The Force Awakens comes to theaters on December 18. None of the movie's trailers or posters so far have shown Luke Skywalker, something that director JJ Abrams said was "no accident."
