Watch Civ 6 Launch Trailer
Civilization 6 releases for PC on October 21.
Sid Meier's Civilization VI is just a few days from release, and you can watch its launch trailer in the video above. It features a man as he makes his way around the world, as he visits and takes part in civilizations throughout history.
Over the past few months, we've gotten a look at some of the strategy game's civilizations, including Greece, Spain, Sumeria, Brazil, Egypt, China, England, and America. We also learned that there's at least one civilization with more than one leader. One of the ways Greece's leader Gorgo is different from its other leader, Pericles, is because she "seeks glory in combat, therefore she will never give up items in a peace deal," Firaxis explained.
Civilization VI releases October 21 on PC. When it launches, players can expect to hear Game of Thrones and The Lord of the Rings actor Sean Bean narrating its tech tree. Additionally, those who preorder the upcoming strategy game get early access to the Aztec Civilization pack on launch day. Everyone else will still get to play as them, but they'll have to wait an additional 90 days.
If you want to see if your rig can handle Civ VI, then you can check out the system requirements here. Thankfully, they're quite modest, meaning you won't need too beastly of a machine to run it.
