Watch Blake Lively Fight for Her Life Against a Hungry Shark in New Trailer for The Shallows

Aquatic predators don't come any scarier than great white sharks, and next month, Blake Lively will be fighting for her life against one in the thriller The Shallows. A new trailer has been released--check it out below:

The film is directed Jaume Collet-Serra, who helmed action movies Run All Night and Non-Stop, and features Lively as a young woman who is trapped on a rock close to shore, with a deadly shark circling her. An earlier trailer was released in March--watch that here.

In a recent interview with EW, Lively revealed that it was her husband Ryan Reynold's previous film experiences that inspired her to take on this role. "My husband did a movie called Buried and that was one of the reasons why I wanted to take on this movie so much," she said. "I know how tough that was for him and how rewarding it was.

"It was terrifying and one of the most vulnerable things you can do but you gotta do it, right?"

The Shallows swims into cinemas on June 29, 2016.
