Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will distribute and promote The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in North America, according to the terms of a new agreement with developer CD Projekt Red announced today.
In a statement, CD Projekt Red president Adam Kicinski said the launch of The Witcher is "the most important event in CD Projekt's history" and called Warner Bros. an "extremely valuable partner" based on its experience and established position in the "crucial" American market.
Warner Bros. also published The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition in North America.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is currently in development for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC for release in 2014. The Xbox One version will feature SmartGlass support for inventory management and "character development." Sony has yet to disclose any PS4-specific features.

This game will be the best on Xbox One! Smart Glass integration FTW!
No thanks, WB is evil. I'll stick with GoG. ...Oh and PC Master Race FTW!!!!!!
great if fox saw a half boob in ME 1 and they went insane imagine if they see Gerald and triss having sex .....
witcher 3 does not go to north America, America comes to witcher 3 bitches
as long as WB dont make development and DLC decisions for CDR - they can publish all they want. when CDR make their own development decisions their games can be stunning and after TW2 i trust them completely - for their skills, honesty and business perception.
Dark Souls 2 and Witcher-3 in first quarter of 2014???? Bye-bye social life :))))
I want Cyberpunk 2077
Hmmmm.. I didn't know it was coming to PS4 lool cool though, maybe I'll try it now. Thought of getting Witcher 2 last year on steam but got Skyrim instead. Witcher 3 looks pretty good though, glad ill be able to play it :)
yeahh
I'm getting it on my 3DS ;)
Stop wining about drm, CD projekt ain't making drm games lol they are against that things
i cant wait to see witcher 3's boobies... lol
I'm more interested to know that when will CDPR release a full fledged gameplay video....some articles say that CDPR have slowed down the combat in W3.
PC version will have the best graphics so fuckoff MS with your smart ass features and more that you will get.
@Accuracy158 Blah blah blah. No one cares about your personal computer.
@vadagar1Or Geralt and Yennefer...
@radikel Two most expected games for me right now.
@radikel No. TW3 in fourth quarter of 2014.
@LS-Chaos
you can get Witcher 2 for like £3.50 on steam when it goes on sale, which it always does.
no reason not to try it really.
@gostor_lives The Witcher 3 needs no mods to have boobies! Take that, Skyrim!
@gostor_lives ehm....the virginity is strong in this one.
@gostor_lives *next gen boobies
@Navardo95
slowed it down?
idk what to feel about this.....
@DeViLzzz Best UI, Controls, mods, graphics.
PC - the way it's meant to be played.
/salute PC Gaming Master Race
@radavast @radikel TW2 and Dark Souls are probably my two favourite games, and I must say that I very much agree with you, good sir or sirine. It also seems like both TW3 and DkS2 improve on the previous games, while still staying true to the things fans love about the previous instalments, so my hopes are very high, indeed. Seriously, if those two games will not kick ass, there is no gaming god.
@radavast @radikel
True that, especially if ur a RPG/Strategy gamer mainly, like me :))
@Vojtass @radikel
Don't remember where, but i seem to remember a first quarter release date. Still, could be confusing it with DS2 release time frame.
@Vojtass @radikel But there is no specific release date, only 2014 and that's all.
Not a bad deal but the reason I last year is because that's how long it's been since I've had a PC to game on. I do have an 360 but it's still quite expensive for me there so Ill keep waiting.
@Navardo95 @gostor_lives LMAO
@Navardo95 @gostor_lives Whether you're a virgin or not, boobies are still boobies! Even the digital ones...lol
@shingui5I actually think it's a good thing. Slower paced combat allows the player to have more time to think, to use tactics and find ways to use the enemies' moves against themselves. They also stated defense will play a larger role, and here again the slower combat will make defense tactics more viable, as the game gives you time to actually block or dodge an enemy's attack.
Another thing they stated is that sometimes enemies will be honorable and fight Geralt one on one, which is another thing I like. Duelling can ofttimes be more exciting and skill based than fighting heaps of enemies. Dark Souls is a good example of how fighting one or a couple of enemies at a time can be a much deeper combat experience than just fighting ten guys at a same time that attack you so fast you have no other way of winning than mash some buttons and hope you'll make it.
I believe CDProject knows excactly what they're doing :)
@shingui5
They slowed down the animation for some, and adjusted the pace of combat....for example you won't get instant rolling away from enemies, but you will get a slightly slower pirouette...all in the name, of having a more natural and consistent feel, with the rest of Geralt's movements...
At least that's what they say, I'm curious how it will turn out...
@shingui5 Ya man...same here :/...though it might not have a bad effect but I too don't know what to feel about it

Its not like the combat was unbearably fast in W2... :/
@Tripwolf @DeViLzzz lol, UI, controls, pacing and overall gameplay in the Witcher games were fuckin shit. Of course the "PC Master Race" will have u believe the game is a masterpiece when its only redeming quality was its decent story and fantastic visuals. The Souls games on consoles are far better RPG's than the Witcher.
@Tripwolf @DeViLzzz
Controls?
funny; to play a third person action game properly, you need a console controller.
Analogue movements ftw.
@Tripwolf @DeViLzzz PC gaming "master race" ? Like seriously mate.....everytime someone says those words its hard to not see them as a couch potato cave dweller.. xD
I do think tho PC will be better mainly because of mods but I also have Oblivion in my PC and only used a few mods....I can easily live without mods so I'll be going with the PS4 version.
@Vojtass @RC-Sev @radikel Got it, thanks!
@RC-Sev @Vojtass @radikel Quest designer said that game will be released in Q4. It's on the video. It was recorded during Pyrkon, fantasy convention in Poznań, Poland.
@blackothh @RC-Sev @LordCrash88 @Vojtass @radikel Or use torrents. lol jk
@RC-Sev @LordCrash88 @Vojtass @radikel i dont want to support sub par games when their original was amazing. wait for reviews and vote with your wallet.
@RC-Sev @LordCrash88 @Vojtass @radikel Yeah, DA2 was a really mediocre game, especially for Bioware standards.....
I think I will wait for (p)reviews before I make up my decision.
@LordCrash88 @RC-Sev @Vojtass @radikel Yeah... Maybe. But I'll only play it because I almost finished DA2. The pain was immense. But buying it? It's a difficult question.
@RC-Sev @LordCrash88 @Vojtass @radikel I think I'll give it a try. I know that the great times of Bioware are long gone but I guess it will still be enjoyable to a certain extend. Let's hope for the best... ;)
@LordCrash88 @RC-Sev @Vojtass @radikel Even DA:I, huh? That's a game a won't buy, but maybe will play after a walkthrough on youtube.
@RC-Sev @Vojtass @radikel
Divinity: Original Sin - late 2013
Witcher 3 and Dragon Age Inquisition in 2014
bye-bye- social life.... :P
@Pyrosa @PS2fweak @Navardo95 @gostor_lives True story.
@PS2fweak @Navardo95 @gostor_lives This is true.
Pick the books up -- all the monster hunting and back-stories are highly detailed, and Geralt is constantly getting some.
@PS2fweak @Navardo95 @gostor_lives Well can't argue on that one.
@shingui5 I also believe they mentioned something about stamina, which makes me even more happy. Stamina is the bane of button mashing, and the foundation of more tactical combat, where every move you make must matter.
@Vojtass @shingui5 @Tripwolf @DeViLzzz
With gamepad in mind? Not really...
They even changed some of the stuff to make it console-like when they released for the 360...
@shingui5 @Tripwolf @DeViLzzz While I agree that TW2 interface was made with gamepad in mind, I still prefer mouse + keyboard controls. Combat is more fluid, because I don't have to use quick choice menu.
@Acillatem1993 @shingui5 @Tripwolf @DeViLzzz
ninja editing.
@shingui5 @Acillatem1993 @Tripwolf @DeViLzzz hm?
@Acillatem1993 @shingui5 @Tripwolf @DeViLzzz
potentially.
but it's *heard, not hear.
@shingui5 @Tripwolf @DeViLzzz That has to be the dumbest thing i have ever heard.
@Navardo95 @Tripwolf @DeViLzzz of course pc is a master race , every games made on pc .
@Navardo95 @Tripwolf @DeViLzzz atleast buy a copy from gog.com. even if don't play on pc.
