Warcraft Movie Trailer Remade With World of Warcraft-Style Visuals

The Warcraft trailer remake has visuals that more accurately represent the game.

Remaking trailers using video games is commonplace these days, though it's not every day you see someone use the visual style from a game to recreate its movie counterpart. That's exactly what YouTuber Ivan Kuzkin did with World of Warcraft and the upcoming Warcraft movie.

Kuzkin created the video with what look like assets straight from the game. The production is quite impressive, though you won't see the characters recite any of their movie lines. Regardless, it makes me wish we could see Warcraft redone entirely in this way. You can check out the fan-made video below.

Kuzkin has even posted a video that shows a bit of the making-of process. Unfortunately, he doesn't go into depth on how he made it, instead just showing the various stages of work.

If you want to see how the video stacks up against the actual Warcraft trailer, you can check out a comparison video at the bottom of the article. It doesn't contain every scene from the video above, but the accuracy of those that are included is excellent.

Warcraft opens in theaters on June 10 in North America. It stars Travis Fimmel as Lothar, Paula Patton as Garona, Toby Kebbell as Durotan, and Robert Kazinsky as Orgrim. It's directed by Duncan Jones, who has also taken the helm on films such as Moon and Source Code.
