Warcraft III gone gold?

While online retailer EB Games has posted an announcement that Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos has gone gold, a representative for Blizzard Entertainment clarified that the announcement was posted "without any information" from Blizzard. The representative would not comment on whether the game has actually gone gold, but said that there would be an official announcement concerning the game soon.

Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos is the next game in Blizzard's popular Warcraft real-time strategy series, and it features a number of improvements, including four playable races, a new 3D engine, and role-playing elements.
