Walt Disney Dreamcast Racer Hits Store Shelves

Eidos has announced that its latest Dreamcast title, Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour, is now shipping to retail stores. Developed by Crystal Dynamics, this game is the first on the Dreamcast to be based on the Walt Disney World resort. There are 13 tracks based on various Disney theme parks, including the haunted mansion, dinosaur! from the animal kingdom park, and others. Characters can choose from 13 classic Disney characters ranging from Jimminy Cricket to Chip 'n' Dale.

"Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour has something for everyone, from lovable Disney characters and fun kart-style racing to a setting based on one of the most famous vacation destinations on Earth," said Chip Blundell, senior product marketing manager of Eidos Interactive. "This title is for anyone who loves Walt Disney World."

The game carries a retail price of US$44.99.
